Some skis retire to the garage. These got promoted to happy hour.

This set of four drink coasters is handmade in the Off The Wall Originals shop from a retired heavy-duty all-mountain ski, giving a piece of mountain gear a second life well beyond its last run.

Each coaster is cut directly from the original ski, so every piece carries part of the ski’s graphics, finish and history. That means no two coasters are exactly alike, and no two sets will be either.

At approximately 3 1/2 inches across, they are a solid size for glasses, mugs and après-ski beverages of questionable nutritional value. Because these are made from a more substantial all-mountain ski, they have a nice sturdy feel in the hand. A thin cork layer on the bottom helps protect your table and keeps the coaster planted where it belongs.

These are cut from real, previously used skis, so scratches, marks, wear and graphic variations are part of the story, not flaws. We like our gear with a little history on it.
